Jaekwan ignores her, dragging her teeth down along Choi's legs and committing each line and scar and fold to memory, just in case this is the last time Jaekwan will find herself here. She leaves a ring of kisses across Choi's ankle, as if by wishing hard enough, she could somehow tie their fates together.
Like Agent Choi would ever tie her fate to anyone. Jaekwan's entire heart belongs to Choi, but she doesn't even know the other woman's first name.

Very, very slowly, Kim Soleum pulls out a long, spiritual, and most importantly, very familiar blade.
"Is that Choi's?!" Baek Saheon screeches as Go Yeongeun turns with a snort at the sight of Kim Soleum, messy hair and glasses and his innocent Agent Grapes look, holding Agent Choi's jakdu in all its sacred glory.

"Sorry," Kim Soleum says, long strides stepping closer and closer, eyes still locked in on Baek Saheon. "That's mine." But he walks past the apple, and Baek Saheon steps back in turn, only for his back to meet the wall. "You can have it, though. If you want."
One day, Baek Saheon will live out Snow White's fairytale.
