Summary
Shen Jiu was playing a dangerous game, one where even he hadn't quite grasped what the rules of said game entailed. Then again, he'd been thrust into this horror game without so much as a notice, he was doing pretty okay despite being clueless.
Well, that had been the case until one of the NPCs acted differently from his previous sessions. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if the said NPC was normal from the start.

Luo Binghe moved in fluidly, almost gracefully. He kicked the masked killer’s leg out from under him, snatched the axe mid-drop, and in one single, unbroken motion—
Beheaded him.
The head rolled.
The body slumped.
The hallway went still.
Shen Jiu’s pulse thundered in his ears.

He could unmake the world if he wanted. He had already remade it once. Could he not do it again? Remake it the way he wishes.
