Like, yeah, you got the same birthday and I know people are like 'awww, they're brothers by choice.’ But nah, man, when I met you guys it was like I could cut that sexual tension with a knife. Almost did, actually! You were both so obvious, you deserved a good shanking."
Min-Gi cringes for a multitude of reasons. "Thanks for not doing that."
Kez flaps a hand. "Case in point: I had a feeling this was gonna happen, so I don’t think any less of either of you for doing...uh, the do? I’m just flattered you told me, ‘specially since it’s bugging you so bad.”
“But what do I do?”
“Uhhh talk to him?”
The guttural noise Min lets out is a mix between a cackle and a sputter. It turns a few heads.
Kez’s brows rise. “Wow, okay. Glad my stand-up’s still intact, but I didn’t realize I was selling out Madison Square with that one.”
min-gi wakes up, finds a letter, and it gets worse.

Summary
John is a freshly retired man with no ambitions, hobbies, desires, or... anything. To keep himself busy, he takes up a job at what should be a quiet, easy-going flower shop only to meet Merle Highchurch and send that whole 'calm retirement' shtick in the fucking garbage.
He now has his hands full of loud coworkers determined to befriend him, battling wits with his boss who is his opposite in every way, and right, at some point, he starts coughing up flowers.
An AU in which John works at a flower shop and contracts Hanahaki, a 'curse' in which the victim expels flower petals as a result of unrequited love.

From the amazing idontlikecoconut666 on tumblr, I got a kinda long prompt, but I’ll still paste it anyway. “So you can have Caboose be autistic and talk about how as a kid he never fit in with the other kids and had no friends cause ppl saw him as odd or annoying even tho Caboose can’t help it. You can even have the trope where he invites a bunch of ppl to his bday party and no one shows up. Then comes in Church and the reason why Caboose is so attached to him is because he was the first person that actually put up with/accepted Caboose.”
I’m honestly kind of nervous to put this one up, because I tried hard to fulfill the prompt but I don’t have any experience writing autistic characters and trying to fill a prompt so quickly while knowing next to nothing about part of the subject matter has made me really nervous about publicizing it. I really hope nobody gets upset about this, I researched what I could and really tried to be true to the prompt. I hope you like it.
