One day, following an impulsive thought he cannot explain, he packs a night-hunting bag - and leaves. Following the way his nose points. Wandering. until he, vaguely intrigued by a rather intricate detection and camouflage array in the middle of nowhere, goes to investigate, and finds a retirement home in the middle of a forest.

Who...lets Lan Xichen stay?
