Summary
Why, out of all the people in this world, did you choose me?
Why would I choose anyone other than you?
(In other words, what would happen if Megumi Fushiguro, the emo kid at school, finds out Yuji Itadori, the nerdy-sporty kid, likes My Chemical Romance? Would it be weird if Megumi wanted to give him more music to listen to? Maybe everything would be okay when feelings start to emerge, and they're not just the usual platonic feelings.)

Summary
“You’re not Megumi, are you?”
The creature standing in front of him didn’t say anything, only tilting his head in confusion. The corners of his lips started to quirk, changing into a smile. Yuuji could tell the smile was supposed to be comforting or genuine—reassuring at best.
It failed to come across that way, though. He looked evil—the smile being the same one Yuuji saw back when Sukuna took over Megumi’s body. It’s jarring, unnerving, and leaves a gross taste in Yuuji’s mouth.

Summary
They’d gone through multiple test people until they found the right one. Some had killer talent, but that would be outweighed by how they blended with the band’s vibe. Arguments would ensue and disagreements on creative decisions, resulting in them being kicked from the band. Sometimes there would be the complete opposite—great vibes, but couldn’t play for shit.
After the seventh failed bassist, Kugisaki and Itadori were about to call it a lost cause. Trash the entire band, and move on with their lives. Until that day in music class, where Itadori’s fascination—him being gay for a slightly emo guy—with Fushiguro would cause him to join the band.

Summary
"If we could change the outcome of our ending, would it still end the same... Or would it be different? Maybe better than before. Regardless, we might not remember what went wrong the first time. Do you think it would end the same? Would we end up here again, trying to try again?"
