"Alright, shortstack. What's going on?" Katsuki asks, settling them both down on the couch.
"Okay." Izuku takes another lungful of his mate's scent. "Um, remember I mentioned this morning that I was going to see the doctor? For that, uh, flu that’s been going around?"
"Yeah, you've been all pukey and tired and shit. Why? What'd the doc say?" There's a furrow between blond eyebrows and Izuku resists the urge to straighten it.
"Well. Good news is, I don’t have the flu.” And before Kacchan can speak, “I'm not sick at all actually."
He pauses, steeling himself for the next part but the words suddenly seem stuck in his throat. A quick glance at his husband shows that Kacchan has that particular look in his eyes. His husband isn't dumb. Quite the opposite actually and right now Izuku can see those gears turning in real time, slowly piecing the clues together.
"You're not sick." Katsuki says, "but you are something..?"

Izuku looked up as he shoved the final coil back in place with bloodied fingers. He never wanted to scoop human guts back into a body ever again after this war. Bakugo’s face was pinched in fury, jaw tight, shoulders tense. His eyes flicked down to the unconscious man under Izuku’s care and he curled his lip.
“Outside when you’re done.” He barked before retreating from the aid tent.
“Shit, what’d you do to piss off the Sarge?"

Just like every other day, Izuku mumbled up a storm and about fifteen minutes later (a drastic increase from the measly three minutes he would have gotten in their first year), Katsuki turned to him and snapped. "Shut the fuck up nerd! I can barely hear myself think!"
And Izuku's jaw practically sealed itself shut. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't open his mouth to speak. Thankfully, he wasn't called on during the lesson, but that didn't mean he hadn't tried to participate. He just couldn't.
