When a well-known nomadic Assassin comes to visit the Farm, Desmond is immediately enamored with her. William and Vega don't miss this fact, and they ask Kassandra to stay a while. She's an Alpha that matches all the stereotypes- big, buff, assertive, self-confident to a fault, and enjoys flirting with every Omega she lays eyes on.William knows well of Kassandra's half-Isu heritage, and he plans for her to mate with Desmond and produce lots of gifted Assassin children.
Desmond finds out about this plan, and he's pretty pissed off that his dad is trying to meddle and control his love life. But at the same time, he really likes Kassandra and they have a ton of chemistry together, so it's not like he's going to reject her advances just to spite his dad.
