“Look at the beautiful sights Del,” Perry whispered in my ear again.
“You whisper a lot,” I murmured as I looked up to the sky. It was absolutely stunning. The navy ink of the sky merged into the dark purple of the fading sunset. The sky was alight with tinkling white stars, and the crescent moon gleaned a mesmerizing show on the ocean.
“I didn’t mean those sights, Del.” I turned my face to see Perry staring straight at me. His amber eyes shimmered with moonlight.
“W-what do you mean?” I stumbled over my words, as his eyes locked into mine.
Perry let out a soft chuckle, “You are so innocent Del.”
“I-” I stuttered, feeling Perry’s finger trace across my chest.
“Shh,” Perry muttered, his hand coming up and soft fingertips brushing my chin, featherlight.Then he kissed me.

Maybe it was someone they knew—a patrolling dragon, a late flyer, anyone else, but the warning bells inside him wouldn’t stop. His instincts buried deep in his gut, in his chest, in his core, even his omega were all screaming. He scanned the skies around them, heart pounding in his throat. But the sun was dipping fast, and the horizon blurred into shadow. The tree line below was dense, making it almost impossible to see beyond the canopy. Something was wrong. Latte suddenly angled upward, gaining altitude fast—and then Seungmin saw it.
