Summary
“Well, then. I’m a ghost.” Jaskier spread his arms grandly.
Geralt held his gaze for a moment, then dropped his head and laughed. Jaskier put his hands on his hips.
“Do fill me in on what’s so funny.”
It wasn’t funny. It was just so - ridiculous, the things Geralt’s fucked up brain would invent. This had to be the last nail in the sanity coffin, it just had to be.
Or: Jaskier is a ghost, and Geralt is a mess.Bookmarked by mspadventures

Summary
Worf knew that he wore his heart on his sleeve, that it didn’t take a genius to figure him out. He liked it that way. It kept people at a comfortable distance, made them avoid him, fear him. But where others flinched or tiptoed, Riker smiled and teased. Leaned in, not away.

Summary
"I tried," Father added, hoarse. "Tried to fix it."
Garak swallowed. It was unreasonably difficult to do it. His heart was hammering in his chest; his mind was oddly blank. He felt excruciatingly aware of Julian, unmoving, leaning against the far wall—of the weight of Julian's eyes on him. But he'd told Father they were alone. He could not tell him to stop, could offer him no excuse for failing to respond as he must expect—
"Is that what you were doing," Garak said, very softly.

Summary
Escaping from Interment Camp 371 back to the Alpha Quadrant, Garak and Doctor Julian Bashir find themselves temporarily stranded on Brax, waiting for repairs. Their hosts are friendly, even if the universal translator struggles with their language, and it seems only polite to participate in a charming local festival.

"Well," Garak said brightly, keeping his smile on his face, even though Bashir couldn't see it, thinking of the jar Bashir had dipped his finger into. "This is awkward."
"I should've been more careful," said Bashir. "Oh, well, it's not too bad. It's not as if this isn't something that happens all the time. We had a seminar on it first year of Academy. You've accidentally married someone in an alien ceremony, what next? It's not like we intend to stay here." Bashir flopped back on the bed, damp tunic and all, and looked up at him. "I feel less worried about getting back in time than I should. I don't know if I'm just too tired, or it's something about this place. Oh, well. Let's discuss it in the morning." He pulled his long bare legs up and shuffled around into a more comfortable position, facing away from Garak. "Go to sleep."
