Summary
JOURNAL ABSTRACT
"It’s been almost a century ever since the existence of individuals commonly referred to as "shifters" and "vampires" has become known to the general population. Scientists all over the world have tried to give a satisfying scientific explanation to something that seems to completely subvert what was previously known about biology, biochemistry and, to an extent, life itself."
Even in a society that mostly accepts supernatural people, Akaashi is struggling to adapt to his life as a newly turned vampire. That is, until a very particular blood donor shows up on his doorstep, turning his life upside down with a smile.Bookmarked by mtoh

Summary
Snowflakes flutter down all around him, they land on his clothes and in his hair, Akaashi hardly feels them as he sees the village come into view.
The roofs of houses and small shops gleam under the light from the sun peeking behind the clouds.
He turns his head, this and that way, scanning the area and the people around him.
They seem undisturbed for the most part, that’s a relief.
But his relief quickly turns to self deprecation once again.
His inner self reminding him that he shouldn’t be relieved with just this, that he needs to do more than just come and check in on the village and it’s people...he needs to unfreeze them soon.

Summary
“You... made this?”
Bokuto was looking at him with awe, like he wasn’t holding a very simply made onigiri but rather a five-course meal, and Akaashi felt a strange sort of pride well up within him. “...Yes?”
“Akaashi.” Bokuto’s eyes practically glowed, cheeks poking out from the rice ball he’s stuffed in his mouth. “It’s so good.”
Or:
Akaashi learns very quickly that the way to a simple-minded man’s heart is through his stomach.

Summary
“We should date. But, like, not. Like dating, but fake.”
“Fake dating?” Keiji asks, raising an eyebrow.
“Exactly!”
“Absolutely not, Bokuto.”
“Why not? It’ll show Kenma and Kuroo that they can get together too! They won’t be scared anymore!” Bokuto exclaims.
And Keiji would hate to agree with his logic, but it does kind of make sense.
“Fine. But if this gets out of hand, or goes on for too long, I’m out.”
“Deal.” Bokuto holds out his fist. Keiji bumps it with his own, sighing.

Summary
“Alright! I’ll be waiting!” Bokuto chirped happily, throwing aside the blankets and skipping away cheerfully. Akaashi watched him with a perplexed expression. Slipping out his journal he began writing a passage for himself:
I never want to see him sad again. I’ll surely ruin it, but would he still sit next to me if he knew? He’s too kind to leave, but...
A reminder that of a voice that once warned him, “Hope he’s worth it.”
(Set in a world where a shop gives people the choice to sell their time, health, or lifespan. The story of Bokuto who sold his lifespan and Akaashi who sold his time. Do NOT need context from the novel but please consider reading this trilogy as a whole and in listed order.)

Summary
In another life, maybe this could have been a different story. Maybe Akaashi could’ve been a prince waiting for his knight in shining armour. Maybe Bokuto could’ve been a hero searching for his one true love. Maybe their lives could've been normal, where they didn't belong to opposing, warring families. Or at least normal enough for them to fall in love like they so desperately wanted. Then, maybe, just maybe, the two of them could’ve had their happily ever after. In another life.

Summary
Officer Keiji Akashi is a Police officer who was sent on a three-year undercover mission to infiltrate a prostitution ring. He had everything finalized, three years of work was finally going to come to fruition. However, his plan is ruined by one, over-eager Newby, Officer Bokuto Koutarou who saw that a girl was being tugged unwillingly into a strip club.
"Officer Bokuto." Akaashi nodded, acknowledging his presence as he took a drag, "How do you think tonight went?"
Bokuto hung his head, "Um... I suppose not well because, because you know-" he didn't know how to finish that sentence.
"you ruined my three-year mission" Akaashi supplied
"Yeah, that." They stood in a moment of silence.
"You did good today Bokuto. I don't know many people who would enter a strip club in this area to make sure a girl is safe." Akaashi pushed off the wall, and dropped his cigarette in the outdoor ashtray, and turned around. The sight of the raven-haired man backlit by the police siren light stilled Bokuto's breath. Akaashi's eyes seemed to see everything, scanning him up and down as if he was hoping to find something he hadn't seen before. "See you around, Partner."

Summary
“You,” he breathes, meeting Akaashi’s level gaze, and Akaashi feels the air go out of his lungs at the sight of the golden eyes staring back at him. “I like you.”
Akaashi forces his expression into something calm, even as he continues to meet Golden-Eye’s molten gaze. And Christ, Kuroo wasn’t kidding about his magic- Akaashi can practically feel the warm waves of power rolling off of him like water. It’s overwhelming. Akaashi lets a little bit of his own power show through, ignoring how the sharpshooters' features shift into something delighted.
“You don’t even know me, Bokuto-san.”
tldr: Necromancy is dangerous, but supernatural beings catching feelings is worse
