Summary
Lance never frankly wanted this life. So, he decided, he would aim to leave his hometown and see what else could be in store for him beyond it.
Yet, life never works out like you expect it to, and Lance ends up returning to his hometown.
Unbeknownst to him, though, his life would take a turn he could not fathom—a new family had just recently moved in next door with one being a boy his age, Keith Kogane. He suddenly had competition and he would not be backing down.
Somehow though, through all this rivalry with Keith, Lance found himself falling in love with his life in his hometown once more. And maybe, just maybe, something else had started to bloom in Lance’s heart as well.

At least half of the looks were envious, understandably. Kenma got it. His soulmate was likely going to recognize who Kenma was to them immediately, whereas most every other person in the country wasn’t going to recognize a particular shade of dark brown or black.
The other half of the gazes were confused, and Kenma got that too, because who the fuck had hair the color of a goddamn tangerine?
On your fifth birthday, your hair changes color to the exact shade of your soulmate's natural hair. For most people, finding your soulmate can be impossible, but when Kozume Kenma looks in the mirror everyday and sees bright orange hair, he thinks it's impossible for his soulmate not to find him.

“You are…” he begins excitedly, eyes gleaming, and Kenma feels the urge to roll his eyes but he resists. Yeah, I’m kodzuken. Yeah, it’s fine, we can take a selfie. He’s learned at this point that the quicker he deals with the fans, the better. But then Shoyo finishes the sentence in a way he wasn’t expecting:
“You are a player of Nekoma’s team! How come I had never seen you before?!”
Kenma blinks, dumbfounded.
