It was a stupid move on her part. No one in Auradon wore exclusively teal clothes made of upholstery. She survived on her own for a while, a few months at least, but she eventually needed to go into town to buy herself some real food. Her refusal to eat fish wasn’t doing her any good.
Uma was at a major disadvantage when she tried to sneak around the town she’d arrived in because she’d never seen it before. Still, she tried her best to stay hidden. She went through every alleyway she could find, but her captors were smart. They obviously knew the area well. And she stood no chance against all of them.

“What’s a little lap-sitting and pizza-sharing between friends?” she says dismissively.
“Not the norm.” She shakes her head. “If you’re really just friends, that’s fine, but I’m worried Steve won’t see it that way, and, well… I don’t want you to break his heart.”
“Not a heartbreaker,” Robin promises. “It’s sweet, though, you looking out for him.”
“Funny how it seems like we keep trying to set each other up with him,” Nancy offers to lighten the mood. “I guess neither of us really know what he needs.”
“I guess,” Robin says tightly, but she’s pretty sure she’s known what he needs since that night in the bathroom. She’s pretty sure he does too.

Steve laughs loudly before hopping onto the swing next to her. “I’m Steve!”
