Summary
Snufkin arrives at Snorkmaiden's doorstep covered in mud and rainwater, Snorkmaiden takes him in and does a lot more for him than he initially expected.
“Hey,” she finally started, placing her mug back down on the coffee table. “Seeing as we're now having a sleepover—”
“Uh— just a minute—” Snufkin stuttered and quickly turned to meet her gaze. “I never said anything about a sleepover.”
“Never you! The clouds did!” Snorkmaiden enthused, gesturing towards the window with a slight tilt of her head. “I don't think it'll give up any time soon, and...well, you're already here.”
Snufkin looked back to the window, watching as the storm went on. Leaves and other debris were pulled from their respective spots, and the sky only darkened with each passing minute.
It seemed like staying was his only option.
