Summary
Hoseok understands, intellectually, that this is a good thing. He and Yoongi have one of the nicer houses near campus, and they’ve been struggling to afford it since the rent increased in December. A third roommate makes sense. They’ve discussed it multiple times. In fact, when Yoongi initially suggested the roommate idea, Hoseok had been all for it.
It’s just. He just thought they’d get someone more like Jimin, who talked a lot, but mostly about stupid shit like the latest YouTube sensation or the best meme he’s seen this week. Namjoon talks about the state of the economy and how millennials are unnecessarily victimized, and he always has the NPR podcast link to back up his sources.

Namjoon didn’t know where it all went wrong. Or maybe he did. He was a smart guy, placing among the top 1% of the nation in the preparatory university entrance exams, but still he had managed to do something any smart person should know to avoid. He let out a heavy sigh and pushed a hand through his hair as he stood before the bathroom mirror. Namjoon raised his shirt up and turned sideways, he let the hand that had previously went through his hair move over his lower abdomen. There was no visible change, but Namjoon could feel it, it was there. A tiny little bump that would forever remind him of the mistake he had made.
