Summary

THE holy grail of found family. i never really saw the appeal until i read this but i think my life has been changed
Suicidal characters are so hard to write in a way that’s not cringe and the Xiao in this fic is probably the best i’ve ever seen it, not to mention how well the xiaother yearning is written MMMM
I cried so many times, every character is so deserving of love, this fic encapsulates everything i loved about Liyue’s cast, and i might cry again just thinking about it -

The first 13 or so chapters of this will live on in my heart forever. such a pretty recovery story and i LOVE caretaking as a trope. it would be so nice if this gets completed some day but i have doubts judging from the later very cool but also rather grand direction the plot was taking.

someone sitting down and writing all of this (on twitter????) is just unfathomable to me it's so insane and i mean that as a sincere compliment. I loved being able to see the improvement in writing that inevitably comes with a project this huge.
The love and passion poured into this shines through and I was pleasantly surprised by how much i thoroughly enjoyed blind Xie Lian. This does have more smut than i would usually prefer, especially between side characters, but it also has probably my favourite sex scene i've read in a fic (the word cock isnt used even once i could cry tears of joy) it's just so intimate and romantic and exactly how I imagined them to be, very good stuff -

99% sure this was the first haikaveh fic i ever read (and like 2nd fanfic ever??) so it deserves a bookmark just for that.
i remember crying in the alhaitham pov chapter and that was when i felt the gates of heaven open, realising there exists an unfathomable mountain of content made by people just as in love as me. something like 3 years later and i’m still deeply hyperfixated. love love these two with all my heart. -
