Summary
That’s when Zanka realized how much blood he was covered in. The blood that was slowly oozing from Rudo’s head wound had trailed down to stain his own clothes.
“He did it to himself, Riyo,” Zanka whispered, turning his head to look at the blood stains and dent in the wall. “I came in here… and he was bashing his head into the damn wall.”
Or:
Rudo’s chronic pain catches up to him, and he resorts to old habits to ease the pain in his arms.

Summary
Rudo’s eyelids lifted ever so slightly, catching sight of a head of golden hair leaning down in front of him. Slowly, the hand in his hair trailed down to gently scratch behind his ear.
Rudo cooed, leaning heavily into the hand as it lulled him back down.
“‘on’t… d-don’t leave…” He whispered.
Another hand reached up to brush the bangs from his forehead. “I won’t, sweetheart. I won’t, ever.”
“Mm… Regto…”
The hand behind his ear slowed it’s scratching momentarily as silence filled the room. Just as his eyes slipped closed once more, he felt a pair of lips press down on his forehead.

Summary
Enjin buried his face in his hands, his head replaying the scene of Rudo and Gris both tumbling to the ground. The Sphereite took the brunt of the hit, the other man doing everything in his power to shield him.
The kid’s frame was much smaller than Gris’s. If the supporter hadn’t been there to bear some of the damage, Rudo could very well be dead.
Enjin shook his head, trying to rid that thought from his mind. He couldn’t lose them, either of them, and today was too close.
