“Leave me be,” Aeron retorted sharply.
“Oh, come now, it wasn’t so terrible,” Davos replied, trying to inspect the wounds marring Aeron’s face. Aeron tilted his head to evade his touch, swatting his hand away with a scowl. “Come on,” Davos muttered, his voice low and coaxing.
“You struck me three times,” Aeron shot back, his tone bitter with accusation.
Davos spread his hands wide in a gesture of helplessness. “Well, I had to make it believable.”
“I think we were past that after the first hit,” Aeron sulked in a mocking tone. He turned away to resume striking the tree trunk, each thud a testament to his lingering resentment.

Повезло, что один лишь Давос сейчас видел то, как гнулось его стройное тело и как облегали штаны крепкие бёдра во время приседов. Шнурок с собранных в хвост волос сполз до самых плеч, и тонкие прядки прилипли к мокрой от пота шее, а сам Эйрон раскраснелся и дышал тяжело, хмурясь и кусая губы. Наверное, мышцы тянуло от долгого боя с таким сильным противником. Но Давосу всё равно было отчего-то тягостно смотреть на него — и зажмуриться хотелось, и смотреть подольше, как Эйрон жадно хватал ртом воздух и страдальчески выламывал густые брови.
