“I’ve been thinking about it for a while now,” Craig starts slowly. Tweek hates when he does that, he wants to yell at the boy to spit it out instead of dragging out his words. “I want to break up.”
Out of all the things Tweek was expecting, it wasn’t that. He freezes in shock, not sure what to say. ‘I want to give you full custody of stripe’ is something Craig would show up at his door at night for. Or maybe, ‘Our parents are stupid, we should run away together’.
“Will you tell me why?”
Craig looks away at that, embarrassment clear on his face. He doesn’t whisper, but Tweek can barely make out the mumbled, “I’m just, having some second thoughts.”
“Second thoughts about what?”
“This. The whole being gay thing.”
Tweek feels his chest sting suddenly at the confession. Craig wasn’t gay?
