Summary
He moves forward, crossing the kitchen in a single step. He's blocked her in, head slightly above hers. He reaches down and pulls the bourbon glass out from between her open legs, and takes a drink, not missing the flutter of her pulse in her neck as his arm glides over her thigh. "You sure you're okay with seeing me every time you look at your kid? I mean, we don't exactly get along."

Summary
She’s drunk on the floor of Trinity and Whitaker’s living room, and they’re talking about nudes when she admits she’s taken them, but never built up the courage to send any. That it’s always felt awkward, that she’s never felt pretty or sexy or delicate enough, that it’s always felt cringe.
Trinity blinks at her in confusion. “But you’re hotter than the surface of the fucking sun. I’ve seen what’s under your scrubs, Samira. What do you fucking mean, not sexy enough?”
“Seriously, have you seen yourself?” Mel asks. “You could put anyone on their knees.”
++

“I know what I did is unacceptable,” Frank says, voice low but unwavering. “I know I’m going to have to answer for it. But I just—” He swallows hard. “He was strangling her, Robby....She was right there, and I couldn’t reach her.”
“You did what you thought you had to do.”He gives Frank’s shoulders a small squeeze. “That’s what you do. You and Mel. You protect each other. ”
