Summary

In the finale of this show, we didn't see much. I'll piece together the missing parts, and look at the inbetween where Yu Xi Gu almost ends up dead and the house almost closes its eyes.

Summary
A two part butterfly effect canon divergence AU where Li Si Yu never gets a boyfriend after that time skip and Yu Xi Gu doesn't die, amongst other things. The excerpt below from the prologue of "Somewhere In Time" works pretty well as a preview of the series!

recommended, but tbh, it's rare i bookmark something I don't plan to reread and wouldn't recommend.

I did not know I needed to see these two together until I opened it. In case you're curious, Soft Yang Yan was the tag that had me click on this immediately, and now I'm excited and waiting for more!
I defo want a little bit on Guangxiao and Wei Yuan's thoughts, even if it's just a quick *knowing look* or something bc Yang Yan seems very aware that they're both smart cookies.
I'm lowkey tempted to read the author's other works fandom-blind even though I usually don't like to do that, just because of how much I adore their writing style!!! <3 I do plan to watch Arcane so maybe I'll save that one for once I finally start it!

I loved their dynamic in the show, and this fic was a pleasant surprise! I like them a lot! I've always thought Yu Shisan would well be an out and proud chaotic bisexual if it wasn't for censorship, so I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I came to AO3 to search this tag in case there were some Meiniang/Ruyi fics, but had the delight of finding this! I might have to write the F/F fics for this fandom myself.
