Summary
In another universe where All Might hesitates just a little longer, takes a little more time to save Katsuki and Izuku from the sludge villain for a moment, Izuku dies. Then, he wakes up in the hospital, still Quirkless, with the world splintering apart in front of his eyes. Izuku wakes up with a curse.
Suddenly things can't get be neatly slotted into Heroes, Villains, Vigilantes, and Civillians any more.Or, in a little different universe, All Might takes a little longer to come in, Izuku does die for a bit, and wakes up with eyes of Death Perception, becomes a paranormal investigator, and things ares more blue and orange than black and white.
