Summary
Kennedy and his friend, Elijah, are halfway through a solitary trek through the Great Basin Mountains. Despite their close friendship, the vastness of the foothills seems to silence their conversation for hours at a time. All of the components of a serene retreat to nature are present... but it doesn't feel right. Something impossibly big looms on the horizon, and the two don't know if they have the strength to look up—or else, look away.
