A wiser man would run away from this kind of heartache, but Jaskier’s never exactly had great self-preservation instincts. Besides, if Jaskier gets to have this – sitting naked in a forest with his fingers in Geralt’s hair – then wisdom can absolutely and categorically just fuck off.
Or, Geralt and Jaskier try to fuck their way through Geralt's intimacy issues. It doesn't exactly go as planned.

Summary
Jaskier is a genie that has been “freed” from his “bottle” which is bits and pieces of his lute. He isn’t truly free but enough to not actually care about being a genie. He's been traveling the world doing whatever. Upon meeting Geralt, he pretends to be a normal bard as he does with everyone but every now and then when Geralt wants something it just seems to be easier to get it. Sometimes when it’s a close call with a monster, any healing supplies are always nearby, sometimes they always have the right amount of coin, sometimes Jaskier just knows exactly what is needed for any given situation
Sometimes Jaskier and Geralt split paths and Geralt notices how his luck seems to better when his little strange bard is around.
I swear it gets so much better the further in you get

Summary

The death of Roderick Burgess brings unexpected promise and danger, however, as Hob Gadling is summoned to the funeral and finds himself catching the attention of a mysterious figure in dark glasses, unaware of his friend's captivity or the danger the nightmare poses. But when a chance conversation overheard in a nearby tavern leads Hob to fear the worst, the Corinthian makes him a suspicious offer regarding the being below Fawney Rig, dragging him into a deadly plot that means to break Dream’s spirit and accomplish what Burgess could not. Naturally, things do not go to plan, and the healing in the aftermath is not something they can accomplish alone.
