Summary
"Just tell me what you want, and I'll do it." Jesse glances up at him, through his eyelashes, and Mike starts to get a sinking feeling about where this is going. "I owe you, right? So take what you want." The kid's voice has taken on a strange, shaky sort of certainty. Like he's done this a million times before, and been taken up on the offer every single time.
Thanks to suggestions and feedback, this is now going to be a series of loosely connected one-shots. There's a sort of story progressing here, but for now they're mostly just character studies.

Fring had hated him at first, Jesse was sure of that much. He'd seen him as just some worthless junkie. He hadn't been wrong. Jesse's confronting him over Tomás had changed that. His taking the reins at the cartel's superlab had changed that. His blazing guns at the don's compound had changed that. Their long walk to the border had changed that. There was respect when Fring looked at him now.
Respect and something else that Jesse was honestly afraid to name.

He lets the intensity get away from him, just for now, lets the feeling of blood on his face truly sink into his skin. For just a moment, watching Walter cringe away, he is more hell than human.
Technically, though, he’s not the one who killed Gale. Gus wonders how he got the boy to do it- he would never have pegged him for a murderer, the boy with the anger in his eyes and innocence he couldn’t shake off. Satisfied with Walter, he deliberately shifts his gaze to Jesse.
Unlike Walter, though, he does not look away.

Summary
One of the main characters - the only surviving witness to a murder - has just woken from a coma. Not only is she entirely cognizant, but the first thing that the subtitles say she asks for is a lawyer.
“What are you fucking giggling about?”
The other person that’s been paying attention is Flambae. He’s right next to Robert on the couch, his arm slung over the top behind his head. One foot is propped up on the other knee, also pointing towards Robert, which has him caged in the corner by the arm rest. It’s probably some fucked-up power move. Robert has been ignoring it just to spite him.
“It’s just not how comas work,” Robert shrugs.
“Right, and you know because you’re a fucking doctor,” Flambae quips back.
“I know because I was in one, asshole.”

During a quiet night in, Robert realizes that his coma and injuries aren't common knowledge among Z-Team.
Most of them take the information in stride with jokes aplenty.
