They would always be a little ruined, Yuma had consoled himself once he’d realised that Taki had truly disappeared for good. Burnt at the edges and bloated with waterlog. But he’d always known the truth — that despite the blood on their teeth what they’d had was irreplaceable. Fangs stained red, Yuma would cradle the memory of who they’d been with claws lined with mottled fur. Mutually assured destruction had sounded wonderful. If he was with Taki.
The time loop isn't really the problem. It's an issue, sure, but Takayama Riki is back in town, years after he'd disappeared from his life, and Yuma doesn't know what to do.

Summary
The summer drifted on like a dream. Things between him and Euijoo muddled severely, and when they saw each other, the clearly defined lines they’d started with began to blend so thoroughly into gradients that eventually, they were impossible to define. There were times when they went on a date, giggling and holding hands underneath the table, and then all of a sudden they were playing footsie, and then Nicholas was sucking Euijoo off in the bathroom, or Euijoo was draining a tablespoon of his blood for a pick-me-up, and despite having already done a bloodletting session that day, Nicholas was urging him along, more, more, more. He could take it. He had the iron to replenish it, and around Euijoo, he couldn’t help but feel good. Everything felt good. The hot sun on his skin, the chemical smell of Euijoo’s special sunscreen, the bubbling of champagne Nicholas had swiped from his parents' basement on a visit back home to gather the rest of his things. Under a pink and orange film, days bled into each other, and in almost all of them, Euijoo.
For the first time in Nicholas’s life, his blood is normal. If only being Strange hadn’t grown on him so.

All the air gets sucked out of Maki like a deflating balloon. “What?”
A cough, slightly awkward, from the other side of the door. “If you aren’t done, I mean. It’s been a while, and everyone’s waiting, so…”
Maki is dumbstruck. Baffled. He would kill to see what kind of expression Jo is making right now—whether or not it matches his own huge eyes and dropped jaw. He can’t look flattering, that’s for sure. Not that he can be blamed, though. Not when Asakura Fucking Jo just made the offer Maki thinks he did.
(Maki ducks out of practice to take care of a problem. Jo notices.)
