Summary
Adora Grey has always been in the shadow of her older brother, Adam. Adam is tall, intelligent, and happens to be finishing his final term at Harvard Law school. Adora is smart in her own right but tends to do things that work for her.
Ever since Adam left for college he has turned into someone she barely recognizes. When a final jab about her not being able to make a decision with her career finally breaks her. She decides she’s going to apply to Harvard law school just to prove him wrong.
To everyone’s surprise, including her own, she gets in. She sticks out like a sore thumb, but with the reluctant help from fellow classmate Catra D’riluth she may realize this is exactly where she belongs.
Basically a cute legally blonde au inspired by both the movie and musical that has been rotting in my brain for months.

The timing’s right, especially since her rival, Catra D’riluth, or simply known as CATRA, is at the tail end of her own tour. Not that Adora was following her tour at all, or her record sales, or how she bought an apartment in the same part of Etheria as Adora. It’s nothing. Catra has always been able to get under her skin. Ever since she blasted her on that late-night interview when they were 19 for no good reason.

Glimmer, who’d jumped a little, regained her composure. She brushed her mussed hair out of her eye and arched her brow. “Why?”
Catra sighed and pulled out the chair across from her friend. “If I tell you,” she sat and crossed her arms, “you have to swear not to laugh at me.”
Glimmer gave a quick nod. “I promise. No laughing.”
“I…” Catra groaned and pushed her hand through her bangs. “I need someone to go see Barbie with me.”
OR Catra needs a date, Adora needs help with her homework, and they both deserve to feel wanted.
