Harlots AU - Lucius is a career harlot, recently installed as a kept man by Lord Richard - who is much the same as every other keeper he's had; wealthy, entitled and easy to handle. In a word, boring. Not so Lord Richard's buttoned-up estate manager, with whom Lucius develops an immediate and mutual hatred. But hate at least is real, and in his life, there's precious little that is.
"So, for every time Izzy hands him something in a way designed to ensure that their hands do not so much as brush, Lucius is sure to trail his fingers across the older man’s skin. He goes about the house in a shirt left open, laces loose, showing off his ripe chest and the gold ring in his nipple. Drapes himself wantonly on the bed or couches, legs splayed so the tops of his thighs show over his stockings, just to feel the glancing heat of Izzy’s hateful, hungry, glare on his bare skin.
The only problem is, the game only satisfies for so long, before he has to up the stakes."

Crowley bent his body over Aziraphale’s and slowly, surely, pressed a kiss to his bloodied forehead.

There’s a bundle of squawks and screams, outbursts of panic and anger, and it’s only when Hopper falls forwards to take Steve up into a slightly rough, protective hold, does he realize that two of those shots have lodged themselves in his own flesh and bone. (Realizes that he’d moved, instinctively, to shield El, despite never having spoken to her, who’d the gun had been so precisely pointed at, aimed for.)
Steve Harrington watches his own blood pool and trickle over a series of hands pressed against him, small and large, soft and rugged, and for a moment, wants to stay like this. He can’t.

She can grow up and be kinda alright, and she won't be inhaling paint thinner at three in the morning in the bar basement until she vomits, and she won't drink alone in a pub bathroom because she's a stalker and she knows it's wrong, and she won't huddle in a high school broom closet and drink bleach and hope maaaybe it kills him, or at the very least gives Mac enough fear of losing his best friend that he sleeps on the floor between Charlie's bed and the bedroom door.
Nah, Sid's gonna be fine. She makes faces at eating bugs.
