“You said your clone took away your human side,” Aldo whispered, keeping one hand on his waist while the other lightly touched his cheek, running his fingers along the faded green marks on pale skin, tracing them like a map. “But you’re here, giving in to the most human feeling of them all.”
Multi felt the touch and couldn’t help but lean onto it. He was supposed to be uncaring, devoid of feelings towards his family, towards Aldo. “I thought ending with my humanity also meant getting rid of this… feelings.”
But here he was, just like Aldo said, succumbing to the man that captivated his heart with a well-done couple of actions.
Multi was supposed to die that day, alone in that desert, but he didn't.
He was alive, but nothing felt the same anymore. Except for his feelings, those he thought he never had until his family came into his life.

Aldo was hungry, and it wasn’t the normal type of hunger that could be solved by eating baked potatoes, avocado toast or cooked chicken.
It was like a deep void in his stomach, as if he had been starving for hours and no food was able to make the feeling subside at all.

Multi remained silent at the words, just giving a nod as he saw Aldo teleport away. A small sigh escaped his mouth now that he was alone, and turned back to teleport back to his reactor as well.
Trust you… yes, I guess I do now, he thought before letting the idea bleed away with the remaining thoughts.
Multi knew someday they would come for him, to make him 'pay' for making everyone's lives a living hell.
But, this time, he wasn't alone to face the consequences.

Leaks had always had trouble identifying feelings. Being alone most of the time, it was difficult for him to know the intentions that someone might have, and that was why he was not able to trust people because many lied pretending to want something and then stabbing them in the back.
He was even incapable of understanding what he himself felt.
If he couldn't identify his own feelings, how could he identify those of others?
Yet, there was something he was able to understand, a feeling that was always present with him.

A feeling that yearned to feel the warmth of someone else, to be together with someone at least for a little while during the day. That was why he didn't make as much effort to push Shui away from his side as he did in the beginning.
Even if he wanted to deny it, after so much fighting with himself trying to make him understand he needed no one, there was something that still yearned for his presence.
