Summary
Todoroki Shouto just wants to live his life of complaisant solitude. He needs no bothering, no interruptions, and certainly no green hair and freckles. Especially when those freckles come in the form of Midoriya Izuku, the boy he resents the most. Is the resentment justified? Well. It wasn’t Shouto’s fault they were both geniuses, constantly competing to be the top of their class. But when they are forced to spend more time together than they ever would voluntarily, they realize there might just be more than meets the eye. Maybe, just maybe, there was never a reason to hate each other in the first place. Maybe they could get along-- and although you'd never hear this from Shouto-- maybe he'll enjoy it.

It's not All Might who saves Izuku from the slime villain, but rather a certain cotton tailed heroine. She has a much different approach then the #1, and decides that the trembling beanstalk of a kid has enough guts to go pro. Ft. Confident! Izuku, Parental! Mirko, and enough sass to make my eyes bleed.

Summary
Izuku has plans for everything.
He plans out what to say to the cashier when ordering coffee, he plans out his homework before even opening his textbook. He has a whole ten-year plan for how he’s going to get into UA’s hero course and get his hero license fully quirkless. He plans for every wild, unlikely scenario he can think of because his anxiety gets so bad if he doesn’t go through every possible outcome, every way his life could landslide into disaster–– but Izuku never planned for this.
For once, he doesn’t have a plan and he doesn’t have time to think of one. All he can see is Yagi-san’s lined, kind face looking resigned as he stares down the villain in his shop. Yagi-san, who is the closest thing to a father figure Izuku has ever had.
Izuku doesn’t think. He just moves.
(Or: Izuku saves the number one hero, gets a hero license way earlier than anyone wanted, realizes that maybe hero society isn’t as great as he thought it was, and everything just kind of falls apart from there.)

Izu attempted but didn't die. apparently, the league found him, uhhh he joined the league but betrayed them somehow. he must've helped the heroes save Eri when the league send him to negotiate with Chisaki. the league tortured him and fucked him in the head. he is in a villain reform program and joined UA both to reform him and to protect him from the league. all the bullying and the roof conversation happened. his hands are fucked, but he's still the best fighter ever. he loves Eri with all his heart and is closest with Hisashi than with any other adult.

Or: Jihoon is too busy trying to save the music department from going under and avoid being expelled in the process. He certainly doesn't have any time to fake-date the school's new heartthrob and be stupid enough to fall for him.
