His nose scrunched up, not from disgust, but rather confusion. Just trying to imagine how Dazai even got dates when he always opened up with, “Would you be interested in committing a double suicide with me?” Maybe it worked on some women? Who knows. Dazai was outside the door and Atsushi was in here—With Yosano. So maybe whatever he’s been doing was decent? Good? Pleasurable enough for the older woman.

Summary
In the years since his presentation Dazai hated dealing with his rut like any normal alpha. It was messy and gross according to him. Not to mention any omega that had the pleasure of dealing with him ended up obsessed with the cat hybrid afterwards and he hated the extra attention. So logically it seemed made sense to start spending ruts alone and away from everyone else. It wasn’t that Dazai didn’t like sex, it was kind of far from that, it was just…why bother.
According to him, what was the point in courting and bonding if he was just going to die in the end.

Dazai was different.
He was extremely fickle when it came to his own work. Often at times he would produce beautiful works that he felt were garbage and other times he would fall into a deep depression that no matter what anyone would do or say, couldn’t help him. Which is why Atsushi would stick by his friend. He admired the man since the day they first met on the river bank when Dazai was tossing his paints and brushes into it and making an attempt to throw himself into it as well. Despite the older man throwing a fit about being stopped by Atsushi, he eventually got over it and they two became fast friends.

Summary
Nakajima Atsushi is starving and done with the apocalypse. He’s seen terrible things, but nothing prepared him for a man singing and dancing in the ruins of civilization like he’s in a Broadway musical.
That should’ve been his cue to run.
But now the zombies are coming, and apparently this crazy person might be his only escape...
Or.
“Wait,” Dazai said casually, as he followed Atsushi, “there’s a horde coming from the east. You’ll run straight into them.”
Atsushi stopped and glanced over his shoulder with narrowed eyes. “How do you know that?”
“Because I let them out of a prison building.” Dazai shrugged.
Atsushi could do nothing but stare at him in pure shock.
“You did what?!”
“I needed a distraction…” The brunet spread his arms, “…or company… It’s hard to tell sometimes which one I need more these days.”
“Why would you… what the fuck is wrong with you?!” Atsushi pulled on his hair, frustrated.
“They were bored,” Dazai whined like a child, “I was bored.”
Atsushi stared at him, wide-eyed.
Dazai wasn’t bothered by this at all, as Atsushi saw, because the next moment his lips curved into a wicked smile, “…but now I have you, so I don’t need them.”

Summary
During the quiet hours of their school camping trip, Dazai had made it a habit of visiting Chuuya’s tent. He knew it was against the rules, so Dazai made sure to be careful while he sneaked across the campsite.
He zipped the tent open and crawled inside. Chuuya was on his phone, lying calmly in his bed. He seemed to have been waiting on him, given the unsurprised look he gave him. He put his phone down and curiously eyed him.
“You’re late,” Chuuya sighed softly when Dazai zipped the tent back up. His hair was slightly wet from the rain and so were his clothes. Chuuya, however, didn’t voice this issue when Dazai came crawling onto him.
Or: Dazai and Chuuya have sex in a tent on their school’s camping trip.

“Oh, you must be my new roommate!” The man exclaimed, his movements wide and wild. “Come in, come in. I’m very excited to meet you!”
There was a tinge of bitterness in his tone, despite how expertly the man tried to cover it up. It was a sound Atsushi was familiar with, a feeling he could pick out effortlessly. Ignoring the way his chest constricted, Atsushi sent the man a small smile, gripping the rim of his moving cart and pushing it towards the door.

Atsushi knew he had terrible luck. All he wanted was a non-shady roommate, some good dreams for once, and more than two hours of sleep. Was that too much to ask for?
