“What do you mean?” He can barely say the words.
The stranger laughs again, soft. Fein squeezes his eyes shut and hopes they don’t notice, “How do you think I’m here with you now?”

And yet it doesn't. And somehow the one of the only constance Gabbro had during the loops is gone so suddenly.
