Summary
Gen’s sleeping habits had changed a few times throughout his life. He was a light sleeper from when he was a kid to his teens. In the stone world not even the early morning construction could wake him. Finally, at 30, Gen returned to being a bit more of a light sleeper. Now a pair of feet walking out of their bedroom stirred him awake.
His fiance’s side of the bed was empty and the door suddenly was not closed.
“Hmnggg,” Gen groaned as he shifted the blankets off himself.Series

Summary
"You need a trusted confidant to vocalize your frustrations to. This arrangement will help you remain at peak neurological function, so carry on!” One of Gen’s more formidable talents, talking out of his ass and bending the truth, is particularly useful for moments like these. Senku’s eyes are deep in thought as he sits up and leans towards Gen once again, who was too busy congratulating himself on another successful deflection to lean back, and found himself three inches from Senku’s scrutinizing assessment.
“So what’s in it for you, mentalist?”
“I get to listen.” Gen stared back, too mesmerized to realize his confession until a few moments later, when Senku suddenly chuckled softly and laid down once again.
“You like to know things, I get it. That’s why we’re the same. If I was into psychology, I’d probably try to get into other people’s brains too. Unfortunately, I’m too busy with my own at the moment.” He paused, seemingly hesitating before speaking again.
“Thank you, Gen.”
Gen smiled softly, thanking the stone gods that the dozing-off Senku was so left-brained, and cursing his own right-brain for being hopelessly sentimental.

Summary
After the very convenient disappearance of Eunuch Kim following the incident at Cheonbugwan, Prince Go Won can no longer ignore his suspicions about the Assistant Gwanju's version of events. While he is conflicted on what to do about it, a chance meeting with the Jang family maidservant pokes another hole in the Assistant Gwanju's story, which leads him back to the only two who can really tell the truth about that night: Jang Uk and Mu-deok.
When their answers force him to consider the unthinkable, that to the Queen is at the centre of the soul shifter cases, he starts examining the palace a little closer. And once he starts, his whole world comes crumbling down.
