Summary
Buffy is supposed to feel a bond with Dawn—a sisterly bond—this was the whole point of Dawn’s existence in the first place. Of course, to balance things, Dawn must feel a bond with Buffy as well. It only makes sense when you really think about it. And Dawn does.
But is this bond supposed to include yearning and guilt and weird thoughts and inappropriateness from the Key towards its origin? What purpose would that serve? If their feelings—their bond—is supposed to be balanced, does this mean Buffy feels these things too?

Piper and Phoebe had been sent up into the attic by Prue to look for a spell in the Book of Shadows.
Piper opened the book, and began flipping through its pages, searching for the spell in question, while Phoebe stood at her side, looking over her shoulder at each spell, potion recipe, and generally informative page that went by.
The younger Halliwell leaned in a little closer to get a better look, and her arm brushed against her sister's, causing her heart to skip a beat.
She glanced around the attic, dimly illuminated only by the sunlight from outside shining through the large stained glass window behind them, and realized something.
They were alone.
They hadn't had any time to be alone, to relax and be romantic, in god knows how long, with all the demons and monsters running around...
And she wasn't going to let an opportunity like this pass her by.
