“Bradshaw!” Bradley turned around tensely, when he heard his name called so angry. It was a Fourth Class kid he'd seen glaring at him a few times, when he thought Bradley wasn't looking. Jake Seresin.
Bradley didn't know what his problem was, but he figured if someone had a problem with him but didn't say it to his face, it was their problem, not Bradley's. However, the furious way in which Seresin approached him indicated that this would soon be his problem. “It’s all your fucking fault!”
“Dude, I don’t even really know you. What is my fault?” Bradley asked even if he could tell already there was probably no avoiding a physical fight. They were actually alone in a secluded place, so he was ready to defend himself against the blow, at least until he heard the answer.
“It’s your fault Ice got fucking cancer.” Seresin screamed at him before throwing the punch.
AU where IceMav ended up taking in foster kids Jake & Bobby after Bradley left, and Bradley didn't read their letters or listen to any of their voicemails, so he only found out about it when Jake punched him in the face at USNA.
(Yes, it's AU of AU, but you don't have to read first one to understand this)

Both Jake and Bob gave up hope on ever really finding family again, then they get taken in by Navy's Batman, or the closest thing to one, that there exist.
This isn't superhero au, just found family one with a lot of comic metaphors (that Maverick doesn't understand) because Jake and Bob are nerds in this.
Or just after Bradley leaves, Mav gets phone call that somehow ends up turning his world upside down once again.(IceMav end up taking in foster kids Jake & Bobby after Bradley left AU)
