Summary
In order to inherit the crown and put an end to his father’s oppressive rule, Kuni is forced to kill a ronin called Akatsuki. Despite easily finding this Akatsuki who introduces himself as “Childe,” it becomes increasingly difficult to do as Kuni was commanded. This, along with a condition he can’t suppress anymore, makes for an unsavory situation Kuni would rather not be in.
[In which Childe is part of a group of ronin that plans to murder the royal family, and Kuni is the crown prince to succeed the bloody empire’s throne.]
**Note: In this story, Scaramouche will be called his true name “Kuni” from Kunikuzushi.

Summary
After a botched mission leaves Childe gravely injured, he finds himself in the presence of a man named Zhongli who somehow has no issue nursing him back to full health despite the fact that they ostensibly have no connections with one another. Childe ends up falling for Zhongli, enough to ignore his duties as a member of the Fatui and live a normal life.
Until unsatisfaction turns into doubt about this relationship and he finds himself running back to the Fatui… only to be met with the same situation he experienced before: a botched mission and a very concerned Zhongli.

Now he has to convince Alhaitham to play the part, when his client insists on meeting the “love of his life”.

Summary
Before Dragonspine was a place of exploration where people actively climbed the mountain in search of its various treasures and truths, there were only dead bodies buried deep in the snow. Few persisted up the peak and all who did died by the obsessive hand of the looming mountain. To turn the burial ground into a great place of exploration, change had to start somewhere. In this case, it began with two men and a bitter struggle to live to see the warmth of the sun once again.

Okay, so he's not dead. That's good. But what's this about him being stuck playing the character Tartaglia? Tartaglia, as in the no-good, one-dimensional, cartoonish villain who met his untimely, gruesome death in the first act of the original game?
Forget this. Like hell Ajax is going to share that fate.
And so begins one man's journey to save himself from his awful destiny.

Summary
It’s been two months since the storm, and Childe hasn’t seen Zhongli not even once, not since that fateful meeting with the Signora where the truth is finally unveiled.
And what a fun little kick to the gut that is, the realization that not only had he been played by all sides, but he's also being tossed aside like trash now that his use had run its course.
It’s not that Childe doesn’t get it. He’s a Harbinger. He knows first-hand what it means to do his duty, to put the mission first and his personal feelings far, far away, preferably locked up in a box, where it wouldn’t interfere with his job. He knows what it’s like working with vipers, to scheme and plot and lie in wait for the opportune moment to stab his opponent in the back.
But this time, this time Childe can’t help but feel a little (a lot) gutted.
Stupid. He’s gotten himself stupidly attached.
