Summary
"I need to talk to you." Is all Harry says before grabbing Louis' wrist and practically yanking him away. Louis makes a not so masculine noise and glances behind him just to see that his friends couldn't care less that he's about to get murdered.
"Listen Harry, I was just messing around, there's no reason to start a physical fight. I mean — I'm only five nine and you're, like, seven feet tall, I couldn't possibly win against you. I still have a life to live, I have a family that cares about me. If you're gonna murder me, can you at least wait until I finish college? That's the least you could do." Louis rambles as Harry drags him all the way to the locker rooms. Harry just ignores him.
"If you beat me up you'll probably get kicked off the team — " Louis words are muffled by Harry's lips pressing into his own.
Or the one where Louis and Harry hate each other, but a little bit of petty arguing and subtle violence isn’t very good at hiding how they really feel.

Summary
As always, the classic high-school rumour mill is never completely reliable. Sure, there are those stories that fly around that turn out to be true—like the one about Niall getting with a model at a party a few months ago (which Louis still struggles to believe)—but this ‘rumour’ has so many versions, and none of them are actually right.
The Sixth Form AU where Louis is the footie team captain, Harry is head boy, and no one at school has any idea that the two of them are in love.

“I’m going to kiss you back.”
It’s surprising how gently Harry kisses him. Louis didn’t expect for him to take it slow, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Harry’s lips are plush and soft and indeed taste like the wine that stained them a beautiful shade of pink. Harry’s hand is cupping his cheek, and he’s grateful that their eyes are closed because he’s blushing like a sinner in church. Their bodies press together, not for any other reason than the fact that every inch between them feels wrong if they’re not together completely like this. Louis’ brain is making no sense. But kissing Harry is great. It’s wonderful. It’s every possible positive adjective he can think of. Which is none at the moment. His brain is blank. He absolutely loves it.
or the one where Louis is a nurse and a midwife, and Harry is so clumsy he just happens to fall into Louis' life and turn everything upside down in the best way possible.
