Tears track down Taehyung's chapped cheekbones and turn the tip of his nose blotchy, his lips wobbling as he speaks “Why don’t you want me anymore? She fucking died but what did I do?” Somehow he’s holding Seokjin’s wrist now, fingers wrapped like a manacle, so tight he can feel Taehyung’s pulse shooting up his arm into the cavity of his heart.
“The whole industry thinks you're a motherless saint but they don’t even know you. I know you. I know what a sick fuck you are and I still want you.”
Seokjin thinks that shouldn’t be right. It shouldn't be this easy to voice. This is not what they are meant to be.

But that is why he has Lan Zhan to take care of him. Lan Zhan counts the days so Lan Huan doesn’t have to. He learns how cell phones and computers work so Lan Huan does not have to bother himself. He brings Lan Huan blood so Lan Huan does not have to know where it came from.
