March has gotten used to the adventurer who's been running around Mistria for five seasons now. They've settled into a careful dynamic as acquaintances, occasional coworkers, and maybe even something close to friends. However, this balance is fragile-- and it will all fall apart at a touch.

A contradictory mess of cynicism and idealism, Arcade just wants to help people. Courier Six seems to be his answer to properly helping the people of the Mojave Wasteland; an odd but charming delivery boy with his own set of problems, most of which stem from two bullet holes to the head.
POV Arcade during the events of Fallout: New Vegas. Explores the physical/mental effects of the Courier's brain injury, including seizures, headaches and retrograde memory loss. Very slow burn, lots of world-building and references to other games in the series (especially Fallout 2). Deals with mature themes present in the game/series overall, but chapters with heavy subject matter will be marked accordingly.
Gay people cannot just ask each other out, especially not in the Wasteland.

Beer swirled around the mug, ice clinking against the glass, light shifting in it like an amber kaleidoscope. Shane watched it listlessly, having fallen into a comfortable buzz. He was numbed, hardly aware of the rhythmic swirling of his wrist, nearly forgetting the cold weight that sat in the bottom of his lungs. Music and chatter echoed around him dully as he slouched against the counter. The only thing he bothered to process was the beer swirling blearily in front of him.
The sharp sound of the front door creaking open didn’t do anything to pull his attention away. His mind churned like one of those cement trucks. Slow, laborious, his thoughts smattering gravel inside his skull. Another shitty day living the shitty Joja way. Seeing the daily news over Morris’s shoulder as he used the company computer to surf the web on break… that made the daily drudgery that much more unbearable.
Someone plopped onto the barstool next to him, but Shane didn’t think to look up until a voice cut into his sluggish thoughts and a shadow fell across his drink.
“Hey, neighbor. You must be new here.”

Summary
Shane feels stuck. Stuck in a cycle he cannot seem to get out of.
So when Sebastian recommends him a new indie game he might like he gives it a chance. What harm can it do?
To his surprise, it's a direct replica of the town he finds himself going crazy in. To the characters being immediate mirrors of the people he sees daily in his real life, to the beaten up sad building that was once the Community Center.He finds himself even more lost than he did before he started this adventure. But if everything else in this game is a replica of his real life, would the magic suddenly appearing in the game also be something real?
There is only one way to find out, and maybe, along the way, he finds little pieces of himself.
But will he find something worth living for if no one is playing through his heart events?just keep in mind that some grammar or spelling mistakes could occur as i am not a native English speaker

A butterfly flies in between them, Little My jumping after it with a battle cry. Snufkin effortlessly catches her mid-air. It's rather impressive. "Mom's in the area, you know. In case you want to visit," he says to her, completely unfazed by the little mymble’s wild thrashing, and Moomin freezes, confusion replacing the blood in his veins. After a few seconds, he forcibly relaxes because no one else seems even mildly surprised.
Or,
Moomintroll is the last one to know that Little My and Snufkin are siblings. He takes it personally and decides to basically stare at Snufkin until he finds out something no one knows about him. It goes about as well as you might expect.
