That’s truly the best way to make Arthur even more smug, to let him know that Merlin has devoted every second to him since the moment he set foot in Camelot. How lovely.
Arthur slowly turns back towards him. “Eleven years?”
“Well, you know,” Merlin says, trying to edge himself out of the situation. “It’s not as if I had time. Or occasion. And really, I can’t think of a single person I ought to have slept with, anyway.”
