Arthur is not a man of many words. Banter, yes, fine; he’ll fire endless quips at his manservant without hesitation. He can conjure up something vaguely inspiring, too, when the occasion truly calls for it and his men require a surge of morale. But when it comes to true sentiment, moments of vulnerability, words are difficult to come by.
But even he is astounded at the disappearance of his vocabulary the first time Merlin is inside of him.
