Had you not seen the photo perhaps you would've noticed the open window. Perhaps you would've noticed the boot prints that didn't match any you'd seen before. Perhaps you would've noticed the small camera on your nightstand.
But he knew you wouldn't.

“You’re… a vampire. They’re real.”
Anya slowly nodded, then she turned her head, looking at Curly first. “We should talk somewhere more… private.” She told him “Sorry Captain… we’ll be right back.”

Summary
“You live in an enclosure,” the man said. There was no venom in his voice. He was just stating a fact.
“Yeah, but… it’s nice. I have just about anything I could ever ask for. And back on Earth, well… there’s nothing for me there now.”
A new human, inexplicably, shows up on Erid, and Ryland Grace has to remember how to be a good host. Considering he hasn’t seen another human in about a decade, and this human is both distractingly handsome and incredibly traumatized, it’s safe to say that this might be a challenge… especially with Ryland still working through his own issues, even all these years later.
But he saved the entire world, so, how hard could it be to save one more man?

He knows he has been given an ultimatum. Find out what brought Simon back to life or never see Rocky again.
The task proves more complicated than he thought.
