Summary
Mobius stood in stunned silence, his eyes wide as he stared at his now uninjured hand. For a moment, he was caught in a state of disbelief, shifting his gaze between Loki and his hand. He was once again completely caught off guard by Loki’s unpredictability.
After regaining some of his composure, he managed to ask breathlessly, “Did you really just… kiss it better?”
“You just watched me, did you not?” Loki replied, a playful smirk on his lips.
Mobius returns from a mission injured, and Loki decides to heal him with kisses.

“Photoautomat,” Mobius said, eyes twinkling as he looked at Loki knowingly. He raised his hand to his ear, as if listening to something, “Don’t you hear it calling our names? ‘Come get your photo taken, Loki. It’s a perfect way to capture a memory, Mobius,’” he joked, giving him a showy smile and pulling at the sleeve of his jacket. "Come on, Loki. Let's do something fun!”
While searching for a dangerous artefact someone had mistakenly donated to a charity shop in early 2000s London, Mobius spots an old photo booth.

Summary
The sound doesn’t echo because the trees are so close here, but it still feels like a beacon to lead their enemies after them—as much a proclamation of their current location as the trail of footprints he’s leaving behind, or the drops of blood staining the pristine white blanket covering the ground.
Those, at least, have trailed off. Loki doesn’t want to think about what that might mean. He’s still alive, thank the Norns—the labored breathing in Loki’s ear, almost loud enough to drown out the sound of his footsteps, is proof enough of that. Proof enough that Loki hasn’t failed. Yet.
(When a mission gone wrong strands them on a hostile planet, Loki pushes himself to his limits in order to save Mobius' life.)

Loki grinned as an amusing thought crossed his mind, and he turned to Verity. “Who do you suppose would last the longest?”
In which Loki poses a challenge and gets a taste of his own medicine… and then gives it right back.

Summary
Mobius believes him, is the thing. Believes he’s innocent. Also believes he has no one in his corner besides Mobius. Loki can’t exactly hire someone to look into it, nor does he trust anyone very easily. And maybe Mobius is being manipulated, but helping him is still the right thing to do.
The fact that he’s maybe a little in love with Loki, that he’d do anything for him anyway, is irrelevant.
(Mobius spends his days keeping his eye on parolees and helping them re-enter society, and he's certainly not expecting his latest case—a trust-fund kid with a white collar conviction—to be any different than any of his others. But Loki Odinson proves to be full of surprises, including an uncanny ability to get Mobius to break every one of his personal and professional rules.)
