Summary
Beating off was real easy. Everyone figured out at some point, usually only a couple hours after they rolled off the assembly line, that if they overclocked their hardware calculating certain kinds of math and it got complex enough to shunt some of their processes out of normal processing centers that it felt good in the same way a hardline interface did. But usually it got stale almost as fast as they figured it out in the first place, because unless they wanted the same sequence of sensations in exactly the same way every single time they tried to eke an overload out of some complicated mathematical equation, they'd have to keep looking for new things to run, and there really wasn't all that much out there worth doing.
Didn't stop Wheeljack from trying, though.
Or: Wheeljack discovers that rendering 3D models is a great way to jerk off. Events ensue.

Summary
Orion, who used to be the most sure mech ever, suddenly realized that he wasn't sure of anything at all.
Deep down, where his memories and identity blurred further, he didn’t know where Optimus Prime began and Orion Pax ended, or if they were ever separate at all. Everything that happened seemed so far away now, as though it were just flux during recharge. It was almost comical that he entertained the thought that it ever happened at all.
The thought that D-16 had ever…
Orion abruptly crashed into the wall and, in an instant, pain bloomed everywhere on his left, pricking his inner circuitry and then leaving burn marks on his spark caging.
Orion is forced to confront the (literal) excruciating pain of being alive after dying to D-16.

Summary
After millions of years of war, Optimus is pretty sure D-16 is long gone.
Then a mission goes horribly wrong, Optimus gets trapped by a particularly nasty species of energy-feeding predators, and in a moment of pure panic he calls the one name he hasn't called in ages.
D-16.
Unfortunately for both of them, Megatron answers.
Now Optimus has to deal with the fact that his oldest instincts still consider his greatest enemy safe, while Megatron has to deal with the even worse realization that apparently D-16 never stopped listening for Orion.
Neither of them is having a good time about this.
