   I work off two timelines:
   Timeline 1: canon, with the apprentices having been taken in at an older age right after Ryoshu left
   Timeline 2: non-canon, with the apprentices having been taken in very young (basically pretending Ryoshu is older/left a longer time ago)
   If the apprentices are any older than 15/16, the timeline is most likely #1
