"Heyyyy Henry, it's Mikey"... no.
"Guess who?"... no.
"Hello Henry, I miss you, let's make out"... no.
"Sometimes I think about when we kissed back in Finland and I would do almost anything to make it happen again"... no.
Eventually he settles on a "Hey Henry, it's Mikey, I got your number from Duke. We play each other soon and I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after the game? Or before, whatever works." And he sends the text and immediately flips his phone over, screen down, before making himself some dinner in an attempt to distract himself.

"Uh, welcome," Jakub says once they're inside, "Sorry, I didn't really think this through, I just wanted to see you, I guess."

"How much time do you have," Andrei deadpans, and Jordan ignores it.
"Well I'll tell you one thing," Jordan says, stepping closer, and he can hear Andrei's breath catch in his chest. Andrei quirks an eyebrow, waiting for the rest of Jordan's sentence. Jordan gets really close, right up next to Andrei's ear. "We haven't fucked yet this season," he finally says. He enjoys when Andrei inhales sharply.
"That's true," Andrei says, quietly as to keep their conversation hidden from the room. "You really think that that makes a difference?"

Summary
When Jason doubles back to the locker room to grab a hoodie that he forgot after practice, he could not have predicted what he was going to see. He never would have expected this: two of his teammates sitting on one of the benches, one of them practically in the other's lap. He can't see their faces but they're clearly kissing and one of them is half sitting on the bench with the other half kneeling between his legs. Now, Jason doesn't care that his teammates are making out, why would he? But seeing them is still a shock. Worse, they're right in front of his stall.
