Konan opened the back door to the house she’d rented as a meeting place, glaring at Hidan and Kakuzu. “You’re late!” She looked behind them. “Where’s Itachi and Kisame? You were supposed to meet them!” Hidan scowled.
“I’m not a babysitter!” Kakuzu slapped him on the shoulder.
“Shut up. Itachi left a message at the meeting place. He and Kisame will catch up.” Konan sighed and let the two men in, muttering darkly under her breath.
“Go meet with the others upstairs. I’ll wait for them.” The Immortal Duo climbed the stairs, and Konan turned back to the door. A pair of figures appeared at the path, and she let out a sigh of relief. Itachi and Kisame. Finally. Konan was fully prepared to yell at the pair of them, but them she spotted something peculiar in Kisame’s arms. A bundle of cloth, neatly wrapped.What’s up with that?
