Summary
Sylvain and Felix didn't choose who they were born to. But they can decide to say no to it.
Thus begins a story of love and loss, death and rebirth. Old ties are severed, new ties are made. Perhaps, in a world without each other, Sylvain and Felix would spiral into nihilism and bloodlust. But however cruel time has been, it has at least had the mercy to allow them to have each other to hold onto. And because of that, even when the world is consumed by crimson flames, there is yet tranquility to be found at the end of the journey through hell.

The words left Silverbell's mouth before he could stop them. His face reddened again as Black Sapphire gave a loud laugh. “You sure that's not the alcohol talking?” he joked.
“Maybe partly,” Silverbell admitted a bit more eagerly than intended, sipping more of his drink with his eyes on the other. “But you're also really pretty and cool and your voice sounds nice and I think I wanna kiss you.”

Black Sapphire would say he was a fan of soulmates. He didn’t dislike them. Not really, anyway. They were hilarious to torture with rumours. It would drive anyone crazy from the twisted suggestion of a single person with the same mark as them, or perhaps one of infidelity with their partners, for all the supposedly sorry souls who never found their other half. Or perhaps jealousy, from those who had none at all. And it was easy enough to ignore the marks on his own body most days, winding from his knees to his chest in swirls of dark vines.
Silverbell wished he and his soulmate were made to be like flowering vines curling around a column, blending into something that made them all at once each other and themselves because the beauty came from both of them together.Series

Summary
Black Sapphire Cookie isn't an inherently 'good' cookie. He's deceitful, egotistical, arrogant and prideful to a degree that most find incredibly unsavoury. He found solace in those like him; His master, Shadow Milk Cookie and his comrade Candy Apple Cookie were so similar. He was content to carrying out his master's will so long as it kept Black Sapphire from restless ‘contentment’.
