She rubs her arms and huddles closer to Alya, her visible breath making her want to cry. She probably would if she didn't know that her tears would freeze to her face. Her hands feel like icicles and Tikki shivers violently under her jacket. She wishes that she'd listened to her mom and wore warmer clothes, but least she can argue that no one ever expects akuma attacks. Especially snow akumas. In April.

Alya and Nino have definitely noticed something is a little different. It’s not that Marinette and Adrien are both exhausted, those two are always tired with Adrien's overly full schedule and Marinette's midnight bursts of inspiration. It’s in the way Marinette stands around Adrien and the extra twinkle in Adrien's eyes when he sees her.
Marinette and Adrien smile to each other when Alya gives them a weird look before class starts.

Curled up on top of a pile of old newspapers and boxes is a kitten. A tiny kitten that he could probably hold in his hands. The kitten is too dirty to tell what color its fur actually is, but it opens it’s eyes to stare at Chat.
They’re almost the bluest eyes he’s ever seen.

Blond, perfectly styled hair fell into his eyes, his lips were curved into the most perfect and warm smile she had ever seen. She suddenly forgot the reason she was rushing.
“No worries,” he was saying. “I’ll help you.”
