So, Tsukishima tries to put Kageyama out of his misery because the boy looked two more words from Tachibana-sensei away from falling dead flat on the floor unresponsive. He gets straight to the point, not wanting to drag this out any longer lest he joins Kageyama in his trembling.
“Sensei, if I may speak; Kageyama asked for my help for this homework because he wasn't able to answer it in time. The bell rang before I could walk him through the lesson, so I just told him to copy the answers directly from mine. In his panic, he must have copied my name, too.”
