Summary
Asami always liked speed. Wind against her face. The snarling crescendo of an engine. That squirm in her stomach as the world blurs at the edges and something distant, something just beyond the glare of the headlights is the only clear thing left.
That’s where she found her kinship with Korra. They shared a relentlessness. A fear of stalling in the streets. A survivor's instinct, like a shark— keep moving and you’ll know you’re alive.
Which is why it’s odd that it took so much patience to know each other.
